Clockwork Orange is a progressive rock band from Bangalore. The name is inspired by the movie 'a clockwork orange' directed by Stanley Kubrick, based on the novella of the same name by Anthony burgess.

The protagonist Alex De Large, leader of a street gang he affectionately calls the droogs is the symbol of the human spirit in a dystopic society. in the course of the film he is conditioned by the state to react so strongly to sex and violence, that he gets violently sick every time he comes into contact with either. while he is prevented from inflicting harm, he is also helpless to defend himself against it. the moral of the story is clear... since man cannot rely on an organization, man must rely on himself to maintain his humanity. This piece of storytelling, done in the great tradition of authors like George Orwell and Aldous Huxley is one of the finest and most controversial political commentaries of all time. 

moving away from the hypothetical crime swamped streets of London, and into modern India and deeper still  into the minds of 4 individuals who have chosen music as their medium. when micro turns macro and people listen to our music, rather than peddle our opinions, we'd much rather they think... and for themselves.
