STRATEGIES
This section isn't for all types of strategies, just for the ones our clan has come up with.
Gravity well rush: In this strat half the team becomes wireframe guys and half of them becomes the gold guys. We rush the other base immediately and the wireframe guys set up as many gravity wells as possible near to their spawn point. The gold guys use the pushing shot against the wireframe guys to allow them to get out of that trap. Once we have set all that up properly, the wireframe guys try to stay alive and build harvest equipment and towers as much as possible, while the gold guys kill themselves, and respawn with a different strat to prepare the offensive.
Gold guy on bwall level: One gold guy in the middle of the low-g level is absolutely devastating. He can usually sit the entire game and "reject" all advances with immunity. From there its up to your team to finish them off and make sure they don't get a gold guy up there.
Mass Energy Suck guys: (we've recieved email from a clan [orgie] saying that they invented this one. So we are just going to do a double credit here.) This strategy is the most usefull if you have reason to believe that the other team is going to do a strat where they are going to stay as a group, or in close quarters. The entire team becomes the energy suck guys that look like water. One person always stays back at the base building things that might be needed just in case, and using the emp pulse to defend against any stray attackers. The rest of the team tries to cover the other team man for man, meaning everyone tries to go after a select person. Once you are in range of your person, imeediately hit the emp pulse, then suck his energy and either kill him or damage anything that is near by. (If you are not near their base, then just kill them, they will have to respawn at their base and you can then rinse and repeat). Watch for counter characters.
Weapon energy creator mayhem: Whats the best thing to do if you have the tech to build weapon energy creators? Tell everyone on your team to build them in a row as near to the enemies base as possible. Kill yourself to choose the guy who makes the guns. By the time you get back to the spot there should be some nice energy balls for you to take and then use to create lots of guns near the enemies base. Have your teamates cover you and defend you (best done by the energy absorber shield guy). You will soon eat through their entire base.
