June 4 2003: New GVB2 designer interview! Silicon Bobulon has posted a new GVb2 designer intervew, click here April 16 2003: Replays taken down Sorry, we've had to take down the replays due to bandwidth problems. April 10 2003: Replays from Gamest lan available We just put up all the replays we could get so far from the recent tourny. Watch the replay called "germs vs [gl]". That was a very intense matchup, in the end everybodies harvesters were destroyed and it was a matter of who would run out of building energy first. April 5 2003: clan[gl] took third in Gamefest lan! Hey everyone, we just took 3rd place in the GVB2 tournament at the Gamefest lan competition that just took place in cali. Very good considering the type of comp we faced. Where did all these guys come from, mars? Clan [f33dback] took first. They used this extremely crazy mortar push/beeman sniper tactic. Hopefully we can have the replays on our site soon. March 13 2003: Rawmeat man my new favorite character This guy is very fun to use, especially his blizzard power. Its great if the enemy has concentrated a group of walls or buildings, stand in the middle, and let er rip. I took a screenshot of this in the infinite level, and put it on this site (finally some graphics).
We've had 3 games so far where we've been simply owned by a team of Tatoomen. Their 8 ball power costs far too little for its damage, and if you get close to them they eat you. Please nerf this PG. update: They released a patch which completely changed the way the 8-ball power works. Now they only take off 5 damage by default, and if they run into more 8-balls, they add each others damage to each other (its a little confusing). So basically you now want to set them up like a real game of pool, and then hit them setting off a chain reaction. Feb 18 2003: New replays available We put up our clan's replays of some of our best games so far. These aren't as cool as all the Japanese beta replays, but they do show some interesting twists on some established strategies. [gl]synbad posted a review on gamespots msg board, and a more and more people are starting to play. Feb 15 2003: Good Vs. Bad 2 released! Its out, and its amazing! Having followed the beta for a long time now, it was so good to see the game finally come out. I've been playing it for the past few days and we are getting our asses handed to us by the people experienced in the beta. I don't even know what we would do if my team didn't all sit in the same office, the teamwork is extremely important. There was a bug with the farmers which let you produce more then one per person, but that was patched by PG later in the day. They have this auto-patch system and they constantly make small updates. |
