    Dear Fellow Members,

Today marks the one month birthday of Pioneer Toastmasters! Happy Birthday to all members of Pioneer Toastmasters!

As we review what we have done in the past few months, from the beginning stage when the idea of setting up a Toastmasters Club in Pioneer Constituency was conceived, to the months of promoting Pioneer Toastmasters to residents living in Jurong West, to the chartering months of our club, to 1 month after Pioneer Toastmasters was chartered, we have grown and progressed!

I remembered in early December 2002, we conducted the first demo meeting for Pioneer Toastmasters to raise awareness about Pioneer Toastmasters. In early January 2003, we conducted the second demo meeting and we managed to form the protem exco on that night. Pioneer Toastmasters recruited her final member just after the Chinese New Year and the charter committee got to work on the charter papers for our club.

In February 2003, we conducted speechcraft for the 1st batch of charter members who signed up as members of Pioneer Toastmasters. On March 7, Pioneer Toastmasters is officially chartered and we sent our first representatives, Janelle and Christine to represent Pioneer Toastmasters Club in Area Z2 International Speech Contest and Table Topics Contest on March 15. Our club had our first official chapter meeting on March 15, and we were honored to have District 51, Lieutenant Governor Marketing, DTM Gea Ban Peng as the General Evaluator.

Currently, Pioneer Toastmasters is having her second speechcraft. :-)

We have made progresses. We have conquered milestones and these milestones are set and written into history of Pioneer Toastmasters Club. I have attached the milestones that we have achieved together as a club. Though Pioneer Toastmasters is just 1 month's old, we have accomplished a lot as a very very young club and we, have even more to achieve!

Let me urge you all, to help contribute to the success of Pioneer Toastmasters and try and set a milestone for yourself, either in educational achievements or leadership achievements or even speech contest achievements and put yourself in history for Pioneer Toastmasters.

Let Pioneer Toastmasters Empower YOU for Success!

    Happy Birthday to Pioneer Toastmasters!!

    See you guys tomorrow! :-)

    Best regards,

    Wei Koon

    President
