International Speech Contest and Impromptu Speech Contest  - a message from our President, Mr Goh Wei Koon, ATM-S

  • Last Saturday was the Area Z2 International Speech Contest and Impromptu Speech Contest at Chua Chu Kang CC. Our club sent 2 representatives for the contest, Janelle for International Speech Contest and Christine for Impromptu Speech Contest.

Despite their strong performance during the contest, the more experienced speakers from other clubs got the upper hand and advantage.

Let us congratulate Janelle and Christine for their efforts to represent Pioneer Toastmasters Club in the Area Speech Contests in such as short notice after the club is officially chartered! They have DARE TO EXCEL, because they pit against some of the best speakers within the area and district, whom have won at Area contests, Division contests and even made it to top 3 at district level. Both Christine and Janelle put in their commendable efforts during the speech contests to let fellow Toastmasters know about the birth of Pioneer Toastmasters Club. Well done!

Let us also congratulate our clubs appointed mentor, Wen Liang (representing Telok Blangah Toastmasters Club) and won both the International Speech Contest and Impromptu Speech Contest. You have DARE TO EXCEL as a speaker, and make members of Pioneer Toastmasters and Telok Blangah Toastmasters proud. Well done!!

Well done to all contestants and winner!
