MELARA TYPE 6616 ARMOURED CAR

{ROThis car was developed by IVECO-OTOBREDA (former FIAT and OTOMELARA), and started production in 1972. The type 6616 AC is fully amphibious, propelled in water by its wheels at a maximum speed of 3'4 mph. It had a turret operated by two men, armed with a 20 mm cannon for soft targets and a 7'62 mm MG. As optional equipment, it can be fitted with NBC system and passive night vision equipment.
