| Pinson Performance Horses currently offers traveling instruction. Trainer and riding instructor Liane Pinson will come to your home or boarded location to instruct you on your horse. Instruction is available for all disciplines and all levels of horses and riders.Whether your goal is show preparation or just a better connecion between you and your equine partner, PPH can help you accomplish your riding aspirations. Our philosophy stems from the classical methods of keeping the horse within its nature. In order to do this with the weight of a rider, the rider must learn to find their balance without the reliance of the reins, saddle, stirrups, or horse. This prevents the rider from interfering with the horse in any way, allowing for a happy, participant horse. Students can choose to complete a riding course, designed to illuminate the riders accomplishments and progress during their program with PPH. We all know how easy it is to forget where we've been and fail to recognize the strides we are making. The idea of this program is to prevent this from happening and help the rider realize just how much they know and have learned. Students can also simply take a weekly lesson to help them with the training of their horse. This allows for more able riders to continue with their current plan of work while having an extra set of eyes on the ground, as well as an extra set of ideas and helpful tips and advice. Lesson prices are as follows: Private One-hour lesson: $45.00/hr Group One-hour lesson: $35.00/hr, per rider/horse pair Private Half-hour lesson: $30.00/hr Lesson price includes travel up to 20 miles from home base, calculated by Garmin GPS system. PPH will travel farther with an added gas fee assessed per situation. |
