Author's Notes
Well this is somewhat strange, to go back after writing the second episode to write some notes for this. I guess the first thing that comes to mind was how fun this episode was to write. Before I had the website up, trying to make it look all nice. The site as a whole has advanced quite far in just a little time, though that is probably just wishful thinking on my part. After the third episode I shall really try to broaden the horizons of the site, but that is for another set of notes.
This is probably as good a place as any to put that when I'm writing this, while I have a general idea of what is going to happen, such as the challenges, and how the cameos will fill in, the interaction of all of the characters is largely brought from themselves. The dialog and all is written not from what I'd want to happen, but from what the characters would actually do. Characters meaning, the characters as their made to be. Some have had their personalities changed in ways whether to increase the comedy, or the flavour of the show. However, once making a solid personality for that character, I try to stick with it and let it runs it's course. Yuffie in this episode for example. I'm a bit of a Yuffie fan, and I would've really liked to have seen her go farther in the show. But she has a bit of a grating, bumbling personality to others, and is immature. I may not want her to get voted off, but I'm not really in control of it. The characters are.
Enough babbling about my crazy writing stuff and all. Overall I was quite satisfied with this. I'm trying to get any and all inside jokes out of the way, so that eventually the series can stand by itself without past episodes needing to be consulted. I'm also trying to be as funny as possibly, though that seems to come unintentionally natural to me sometimes. At the same time, I also want there to be a bit of drama and story to it, not just comedy. Though I have no specific story or a plot in motion at the time, perhaps I'll be able to string something together. Well that's about all I can prattle about at the moment. So with a tip of the hat, if I was wearing a hat, and a wave of farewell till next time, I end this.
