Mission Springs...is a great experience for our students! We will be leaving sooner than you think. Our field trip dates are 9/28-10/02.Thanks to our selected chaperones for this year: Mrs. Ruivivar, Mrs. Newell, and Mr. Smith . Our trip would not be possible without you! Information for the trip has been handed out. Please make sure your student gets in all of their forms in on time, by Wednesday, 9/16. You may get MSOE info from our Yahoo!Group under files. The District Writing Contest
The topic for this year's District Writing Contest is: How Decisions, Past or Present, Affect the Future. This year's winners for our class are: 1st--Cameron Poirier, 2nd--Chris Patinoi, and 3d--Tyler Madrigal. Congrats!
Egyptian Mask Project

Alternative Fuels
The Algebra Placement ...will be given at the end of February this year.
MYPAS Testing... will take place in Dec., 2009
STAR/CST TESTING...begins April 19, 2010. Please make sure your student gets enough rest and enough to eat, especially breakfast the morning of the tests. (You may help your student by going over release questions put out by the State of California:)
Snacks for Testing
In order to get our students off to a good start, we are asking parents and guardians to bring in snacks for testing.
Homework Club...is on Tues. and Thurs. from 2:25 - 3:10. Students may get help on assignments.
Test Repairs...are required on all math tests (unless you've scored 100%). Select students will be asked to attend Test Repair sessions after school.
Accelerated Contracts...are for students that would like to attain a depth of knowledge in any given subject. If your student would like to accelerate their learning ask for an accelerated contract from Mr. Au.
