How to Swap a Bit/ZipZap PCB
How to swap Bit/ZZ/Clone/OEM receiver PCBs.

It has come to my attention that ZZ owners as well as others want to swap out their receiver PCB.  This opens the door for many frequencies that were once forbidden (damn FCC)!  Here's what your gonna need.

1)ZipZaps or a suitable test subject.  (great running car w/dead board?)
2)Clone, OEM or Bullet car in any of the different frequencies.  That will give it's life for this wonderful experiment.  (you should test run the donor car,, because sometimes you can get a really great car)
3)Correct tools (good soldering iron with fine tips, project holder thingy with alligator clips, some basic soldering technique)

Prepare the patients.

1)Strip off the body and PCB cover for both cars.
2)One at a time de-solder the wires off the PCB of one car, then do the exact same thing on the wire from the other cars PCB.  You can disregard the color of the wire.  For ZZs the B- is GND, and B+ is VDD (VCC).  If you look really carefully (even underneath) you will notice that there are little letters next to each of the solder points.  They should match up except for the F (forward) and B (back), these two wires need to be reversed (usually).
3)Pay extra attention to the hair thin steering wires.  4 wires total, 2 per side, one from each side connect to the B+, and the last two (one from each side) connect to L and R.
4)If you find that the only thing wrong is the turning is reversed, you can just flip the magnet instead of resoldering the steering wires.

I have found some clones that have a PCB I would not reccomend for a swap,, these clone PCBs have the capacitor mounted verticaly so you cannot bent it,, the capacitor sticks up alot and really gets in the way,, I suggest you find another suitable doner clone.
