The Pic Group was established in 1985 as an entrepreneurial arm of Durham College. Since its inception, it has grown from a local, quality-training company to a leading North American provider of comprehensive quality solutions, including inspection, quality engineering, training and consulting focused on quality assurance systems such as ISO/TS 16949:2002, ISO 9000-2001, Six Sigma, AND Lean Manufacturing, among others. |

| Mike Shields and the C.A.W.
Mike Shields was president of C.A.W. Local 222 and the CAW/GM Intra �Corporation Council, and has recently been appointed as Director of Organizing for the C.A.W. He is also a member of CAW Canada�s national executive board. Active in the community, Shields is a director of the Durham College Foundation and the Unemployed Help Centre, and co-chairs the United Way of Clarington/Whitby/Oshawa fundraising campaign. |
