Golf lessonsAnd so, on a warm Friday afternoon, 14 of these special children -including Jason and his sisters, as well as Zacchaeus, Naomi and Habakkuk - were treated to a sumptuous buffet at the club's coffee Deck and allowed the freedom to do some golfing (trained first by the pros of course), swimming (for most, it is their first time doing so) in the club pools, and have fun at the video centre.Zacchaeus trying a hand at golf with some help

To top off the day of fun, the LICT Rotaract club handed over the collection of clothes, toys, books and money.

Pastor Paul expressed his joy at the event. "It's great to be able to give these children a chance to see the Luke, having quite a feast!other side. Did you know that this is their very first outing? It's the first time anyone has invited us out even! We consider it an 'opening up' for the children. It's wonderful for then to know that people they don't know can care about them."

As a Rotaractor, the great moments were the gotong royong (cooperation, in Malay) moments where we all pulled together to pack boxes, make the rounds of the classes with the donation box and -oh yes!the high spot - racing in eight cars to stay together because half of us hadn't a clue to get to SaujanaOur best picture: Jason giving a kiss Golf Club!

It was worth it, every bit of it. Because the best moment of this whole event is the thought of being able to give to the children, to be able to give them a day of joy and laughter.
