These pages were created in memory of my paternal grandparents, Frank Alexander Reigle and Amy Amanda (McDillon) Reigle, and is dedicated to my parents, Harold A. and Frances B. Reigle.  Without their assistance in researching, and their patience while I continually asked questions, I would not have been able to come to know the wonderful, but short, life my grandparents had together.

While researching their lives, some unknowns were discovered while others were left to rest . . . most likely never to be completely understood by us.

As I took this wonderful journey back in time, I came to know my grandparents in a way I had never known them before. I never knew my Grandfather as he passed away in 1930 when my father was only 9. My Grandmother lived in New York and I in Kansas. She came to visit us and I remember visiting her in New York. When she passed away in 1968, I was only 16 but I have vivid memories of her.

I have prepared these pages to share with you the lives of my grandparents, their families, and the legacy they left behind.. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did in preparing them.

Frank and Amy Reigle
   Were like two peas in a pod.
Ask them what their secret was,
   They'd point you straight to God.

He was just a country preacher,
   He drove a Model T,
No fame or fortune came their way;
   Nor was it ever sought to be.

There came that day when they took their flight,
   To that City somewhere above.
And to each of us they left their best,
   The tokens of their love.

In Memory
My father, Harold A. Reigle, the second child of Frank and Amy, was called home on April 21, 2007 at the age of 86.  Dad was a wonderful person . . . a father like none other. He was my hero, my idol, someone who always believed in me. I, along with my siblings, will miss him greatly. Dad, we love you very much and will miss your gentle and caring way. Until we meet again . . .

In Memory
Frank and Amy's eldest son, Francis W. Reigle, passed away February 25, 2003 at the age of 83.  While he will be missed by friends and relatives, he has gone "To that City somewhere above" and has been reunited with his parents, Frank A. and Amy A. Reigle.
