My grandfather, Frank Alexander Reigle, was born October 24, 1877 in Seneca Falls, New York. He was the fourth of six children born to John Henry Reigle and Lucy Adeline (Holton) Reigle. | |

He studied at the Gospel Missionary Union for 10 months and was connected with their missionary work for approximately six years in the West. This work took him to Kansas where he did colportage work. He was also in Hutchinson, Kansas and in Kansas City, Kansas where he helped the newly formed Baptist Theological School. He applied for acceptance into the Practical Bible Training School in Binghamton, New York in December 1909. He was accepted and started attending in May 1910. It was here that he met his future wife, Amy Amanda McDillon. In June 1912, he received his ordination in Westville, NY where he pastored about 4 years. His pastorates, all in the State of New York, included the following:

While they lived in Binghamton, he also worked as a painter at the Fairbanks Valve Works and still supplied several outlying churches with their needs. |

After an illness of about three weeks, he died July 14, 1930 at his home at Ray, New York. Services were held at the North Darien Church where he held his last pastorate. He is buried at the Kendaia Baptist Cemetery at the Kendaia Baptist Church, Seneca County, New York. |
