The photos
on this page haven't been updated in awhile. I have started to use an
online photography site to showcase my more recent photos.

{sitting
squirrel 3} After writing to a net friend and finding out they had never seen a real
squirrel before, I had to go out and start taking photos of squirrels. (easier said
than done!) I finally succeeded as you will soon see!
{Divers from below } I had seen a photo of divers on the surface
taken from the bottom in a textbook. I tried the same thing, and after adding some
bubbles I think it looked pretty cool!
{big bear} You might
remember this picture from my old photo page, it's still a good shot, and didn't want to
take it off.
{Yellow Fins} This is a friend of mine that I help teach scuba
with. We were out in a quarry waiting for the students to get ready, and I was
trying out my underwater camera.
{Three ducks} I bet you wonder how I come up with the names for these
pictures, don't you? :) I took this picture back in high school (no it wasn't THAT
long ago!) It was a Black & White image to begin with and I made it look old.
{colorful corals} I took this down in the Bahamas on one of the trips. The
flash helped bring out the colors and after I got back I was really surprised at how it
turned out.
{peek} This was another one of the many squirrel pictures that I took. He
had run up the tree and was peeking around the trunk to see what I was doing. I just
sat and waited for him to get curious enough to look again, and took the picture.
{Donnie
Iris} You might remember this from my old site or from the "parallel time"
web site. I took this of Donnie at a rib cook-off in Ohio. Halfway through the
show I decided to try and use the ambient lighting, and got some REALLY neat shots!
{daddy ray} This was taken again in the Bahamas. There were 4 of them swimming
around and this was the largest. It got to the point that I couldn't help but take
their pictures, because they were getting so close.
{lioness} I took this the same
visit to the zoo as the bears. It was early in the morning and both the
lions were laying out in the sun.
{underwater
plane} This was the most surprising photo that I got back. You see underwater the
colors fade as you go deeper, but any flash or flashlight will bring the colors back to
life. I didn't see all these pretty colors when I took the photo, but they sure
showed up well on the film. This was an old plane on the bottom, to give us
divers something to look at.
{polar bear} This is one of my "old"
pictures from the old site as well. It's wasn't a bad day when I took
these and he was all stretched out on the rocks, probably getting cool.
{student
and shark} Another Bahamas picture. We went on a second shark dive this trip
and because of the small group of divers with us, the sharks came in for a close
look. The couple students were really wanting to see them, and I wanted to get a
photo of a diver and shark. I later quit paying attention to the sharks and looked
for their teeth in the sand. Found 3 on this dive!

{tree pose}
This is the last one... he ran up the tree and figured I wasn't a threat anymore. Just sat up there eating his acorn. I was able to get up under the tree and get a nice shot of him, without scarring him.
To see more of my photos, I have a page that I set up of a recent scuba trip, it has a
narrative, but also MANY photos, both topside and underwater. Bonaire
