Temperament: Fontana
is a highly energetic female who has yet to lose her playful youth
behind. She is always at the bars of her cage waiting to come
out and play. Her favorite game is to wrestle with my hand and
it never gets tiring for her. Fontana is lithe and agile
making her look like she isn't very friendly to those who see her
for only a moment, but when she is called she comes over for ear
scritches and kisses and is happy to sit with you for a little
while.

Masson came from Pixies World Rattery in Normal, IL under a breeder
contract with Melissa Hubbard of PWRR. Fontana spent her first
hours with me sleeping in my shirt, snuggled against my chest.
At that point I thought I was going to have a sweet little snuggler
like my first rat Mara.
After quarantine,
however, I started to see that Fontana was much like a border
collie. As long as she was well exercised and stimlated she
was happy to spend a little time with me, but when time wouldn't
permit for long bouts of playtime, Fontana would find things to
occupy herself and sometimes get into trouble. Fontana's
favorite playthings are her wheel and my hand. She loves
wrestling and tries to instigate wrestling with some visitors.
Fontana Masson is
currently living with Kiera (DRAC Obsidian Dream) and Oreo, the
rescue.
