Non-Agouti Colors

Beige

A warm tan color that is neither too gray or too yellow.

Eye Color: Dark ruby

Genetics: a/a  r/r

Black

A deep solid black color without browning or rusting.  Base of the fur should be black to the skin with foot and belly color to match the top.

Blue (AKA American, Slate)

Between deep steel blue and pale blue.  Lighter shades have a silver underbelly and base fur.  Darker shades have foot and belly color to match top color; base color may be slightly lighter at the skin.

Eye Color: Dark ruby to black

Champagne

A very light beige with no signs of grayness.

Chocolate

A rich, deep brown that is devoid of dinginess.

Lilac

A medium to pale gray with slight pink tones what is not too dark or has a bluish tinge to it.

Mink

An even mid-gray brown, devoid of dinginess or rusting, with a bluish sheen.

Pearl

Pale silver to cream.  Each hair should be delicately tipped with gray evenly over the whole animal.  Belly fur to be silver cream and foot color to match top.

Pink Eyed White (PEW)

Pure white without a creamy tinge.

Platinum

An even, bright shade of pale gray with an ice-blue hue.  Color should have no suggestion of creamy , brown, or strong blue hues.

Eye Color: Red to ruby

Russian Blue

An even, deep medium gray-blue, with a metallic sheen that is similar to russian blue cats.  Faint light speckling or heathering (subtle ticked effect) and/or darker guard hairs throughout are not at fault.  Undercolor should be dark blue down to the skin.

Russian Dove

A warm pink-gray.  Faint light speckling or heathering (subtle ticked effect) are not at fault.  Undercolor should be pale gray to the skin.  Not to be confused with lilac or platinum.

Agouti Colors

Agouti

To be golden chestnut brown with dark gray to black base fur and black guard hairs.  Underbelly to be a silver gray with a sharp line between the top and belly.

Blue Agouti

A blend of mid-blue ticking over a medium fawn ground.  Undercolor should be blue to the skin with silver belly, and dove gray feet.  Tail and ears should be covered with blue hair.

Cinnamon (AKA Mink Agouti)

A warm russet brown, evenly ticked with darker guard hairs.  Base fur should be mid-gray and belly fur should be a lighter shade of the agouti silver gray.

Eye Color: Ruby to black

Genetics:  A/-  m/m

Fawn

A rich, golden fawn evenly ticked with silver guard hairs.  Undercolor should be pale blue-gray to the skin.  Belly to be silver.  Top color should be devoid of sootiness or grayness.

Silvered

To be a recognized coat color containing an equal number silver and non-silver guard hairs.  Each silver hair should have as much white as possible, but a colored tip is acceptable.  Silvering should give an overall sparkling appearance.
