Joining Amtgard

Our weapons are safe, foam-padded replicas of the real things.
Anyone may join.

To become a member you must:

1. Read a copy of the handbook.
2. Develop a persona and persona history, and fitting costume.
3. Fill out a waiver and give it to the Chancellor.

NOTE:  Minors must have their waivers signed by their parents
or legal guardians. Minors under the age of 14 may not
participate in combat without special permission from the monarch.

About the Confederacy
The Crystalline Confederacy was started as a collaboration of Shires, meaning one day to unite California under its own kingdom, separate from the Burning Lands - who are too far away to care about us, anyhow.

We pride ourselves on creative Questing and Quest building. The Regent of the Confederacy is responsible for coordinating our ongoing Quest storyline.

Many of our players are well-versed in Roleplaying games like those from TSR and White Wolf, and with Combat groups like the SCA. We have soldiers and sailors, police and laborers. We welcome everyone and hope that together we can make this high-contact style L.A.R.P. the best!
