About Dr. J H Bay’s Professional Portfolio:

Dr. Philip Joo-Hwa Bay has practised as a director of a big architectural firm in his early years, dealing with multi-million dollar projects. He later obtained a PhD in Architecture from TUDelft in the Netherlands, and involved himself in researching and teaching architecture in the National University of Singapore, producing a few books. He continued to provide design consultancy services to the public bodies as well as private individuals, and designing several projects that were built. He was also actively involved in community activities, and has taught Tai Chi with Master Lee.  Dr. Bay currently teaches architecture part-time at the University of Western Australia as an Associate Professor. He continues his research, writing and runs a private design consultancy practice in Perth.
