Week 16 Studs and Duds |

K David Akers went 3-3 for FGs on this one and helped the Eagles come away with points on a few drives that stalled. |

| We just love G Shaun Andrews. Honestly, this guy always seems to be in the right place at the right time and he delivers punishing blocks. The offensive line is usually taken for granted, but Andrews is something special. |

FS Brian Dawkins has been on this list so many times, The Eagle Report has run out of things to say about how outstanding of a player he is! |
| QB Jeff Garcia's manhandling of the Cowboys defense with his legs and arm was definately something to smile about. Garcia said in the post game, "Hey Philadelphia, Merry Christmas." Right back at you Jeff. Thanks for the win. |

The back up to Dawkins is Quintin Mikell. Mikell seems to have a knack for making plays when the team needs them. Last year he had a blocked FG against San Diego and in this one he stopped Marion Barber on the goal line and caused a fumble. Great work by #27 and another example of players stepping up. |
Speaking of stepping up, TE Matt Schobel did a great job filling in for the starter LJ Smith. We have been waiting all year for Schobel to do something and he showed why the Eagles signed him with his good speed and route running. |

Dumb penalties aside, TE LJ Smith's catch and run when the Cowboys brought the blitz was a thing of beauty. Smith's game seems to get better and better each week. The Eagles have reason to be excited about LJ. |

We were sad that the Eagles traded Hank Fraley this year, but his replacement C Jamaal Jackson has done a great job all year. While the Cowboys were having issues with snapping the ball, Jackson has been very reliable in blocking and snapping. It appears that extension he was given was well deserved. |

After years of waiting, Brian Westbrook has finally developed into the every-down, running up the gut running back Eagles fans wanted and he has done a great job. In this game, Westbrook ran for 122 yards on several impressive runs. |

Everyone in this game played so well that it was hard to give out a dud. This dud is given to Sheldon Brown simply because he let Terrell Owens score a TD. Besides that, Brown played very well. |

| Honorable Mention |

Still no sacks, but DT Broderick Bunkley got some playing time and actually looked pretty good against Dallas. Bunkley was using that strength and speed to help create a pass rush and seemed to be getting a push instead of getting pushed. Hopefully this is a turning point for Bunkley. We'd love to see him do well. |

The best games DE Darren Howard has had this year were against the Cowboys. That's fine, we'll take that as it means Tony Romo is eating grass. |
CB Lito Sheppard has done a great job this year recovering from injury to make an impact on that field. It sure is great having #26 at CB and not the weird mix of Joselio Hansen and Rod Hood. Lito's interception was one of many for the man going to Hawaii. |
