-The first event at Texas Stadium was an appearance by popular preacher Billy Graham.
-The Cowboys' new stadium (nearing completion in 2008 or 2009) is slated to top over 1 Billion dollars in total cost
-Former Cowboys LB D.D. Lewis had what many view to be a comical quip about the stadium hole: "It is so God can watch over His team."
-Texas Stadium currently has two bars that run across the hole in the roof. These are are referred to as "Garth Bars" because of a Garth Brooks concert where he wanted to fly over the audience.
-While at college at University of Arkansas, Cowboys owner and GM Jerry Jones played football with two guys who would later become coaches for his team: Jimmy Johnson and Barry Switzer.
-Former Cowboys coach Dave Campo is largely considered by Cowboys fans to be the worst coach in team history. In his 3 years as head coach, Campo led the Cowboys to a 15-33 record.
-Current Eagles TE Matt Schobel was originally a QB but was asked to switch to TE while at TCU due to his surprising quickness and size.
-Current Eagles long snapper Jon Dorenbos is a jack of all trades. Besides being a popular magician in Las Vegas and with many celebrities, Dorenbos is also a respected public speaker and owns a custom framing business with a former teammate from the Buffalo Bills.
-Prior to being signed by the Eagles in 2003, P Dirk Johnson worked many odd jobs including a stint as a golf caddy in Colorado.
-Although he is currently on injured reserve, current Eagle Jeremy Bloom has lived an interesting life prior to being drafted by the Birds. In addition to modeling work, Bloom is a world-class skiier, finishing #1 overall at the U.S. Nationals competition in 2002. Bloom has since made football his #1 priority.
