Week 15 Studs and Duds |
| Studs |
There are not enough words in the English language to describe how well FS Brian Dawkins has played this year. Every week, B-Dawk is a one man wrecking crew and Week 15 was no different. Besides forcing two fumbles and getting an INT, Dawkins led the team in tackles with 11. This guy deserves a Pro-Bowl nod. |

The 1-2 punch at HB with Brian Westbrook and Correll Buckhalter made the Giants defense look like swiss cheese as these two guys picked up yards in chunks. Between them, they had 145 yards, three touchdowns, and both of them averaged over 5 yards a carry. |

QB Jeff Garcia's taunting penalty and interception were both bad mistakes, but Garcia made up for them and did one heck of a job. Garcia finished 19-28 for 237 yards and 1 TD. The way this team has rallied around Garcia after Donovan went down is a testament to the work ethic and play of #7. |

Just a few days ago, we at The Eagle Report criticized the WRs that Andy Reid has drafted as lousy. Well, here's the exception. WR Reggie Brown appears to be getting better every game and really turning into a true #1 receiver. The sky is the limit for Reggie as he could really be something special. |

The most consistent player on the D-Line had another great effort on Sunday. DE Trent Cole intercepted a deflected pass by Eli Manning and ran it back for a TD to put the icing on the cake for the Eagles, giving them a 14 point lead they would hold. This was sweet reconcilation for his actions in Week 2 against the Giants. |

The Eagles O-Line of Runyan, Herremans, Jackson, Andrews, and Thomas has been overlooked this year but they really played great and did a fantastic job in Week 15. You weren't seeing things when Westbrook and Buckhalter had Herremans and Andrews spike the ball on their TDs. |

LB Dhani Jones was getting picked on in this game, and with good reason. He was awful. In fact, that's the only part of Dhani's game that is consistent. |
We like CB Sheldon Brown a lot here, but he didn't have such a great day against his foe WR Plaxico Burress. That pass-interference call that gave the Giants an easy TD wasn't helpful either. |

Yet another sub-par game for CB Rod Hood. Hood could very well be gone after this year. His play has been lackluster. |

| Studs |
LB Omar Gaither has played in 3 games and made the stud list 3 times. This kid is incredible right now. He was the only Eagle able to bring Eli Manning down using that great speed he has. |
WR Greg Lewis does not play too often but when he does, he tries to contribute any way he can. In the case of week 15, Lewis had some great blocks that helped fuel the running game. Great job by G-Lew. |

TE LJ Smith, after disappearing the last few weeks had himself a respectable game making big catches when the Eagles needed them. LJ is quitely having a good year for the Eagles. |

Former Cowboys coach and current Fox Sports anchor Jimmy Johnson can think what he wants, but his opinions regarding Jeff Garcia and the current state of the Eagles were just plain stupid. After being one of the many calling the Eagles "dead" after the McNabb injury, Johnson refused to give credit to Jeff Garcia for the great job he has done with this team the past few weeks. It seems to us that Johnson went to the Michael Irvin School of Broadcasting. |

| For the most part Fox Sports usually does a fine job covering football. They did a good job yesterday except for one thing: the camera angles. For whatever reason, Fox made it as nauseating as possible to watch a football game by doing these fancy angles and all this weird zooming stuff. The camera work was also criticized on Comcast SportsNet, although Angelo Cataldi of WIP said without a lick of sarcasm, "It was fantastic!" |
