Hello everyone, my name is Brenda Holman!

     The Youth at Putnam Heights Church of Christ is an awesome group of young people that I have been so blessed to be able to work with.  I am the Youth Minister and have been working with this phenomenal group for more than two years now.  It has been great to see the youth get excited about all the things the Lord has provided for them and it is only because of His great love that this program is a success.  The Lord has blessed this ministry greatly and we are excited to be His servants!  There are several events throughout the year that take place for youth of all ages and we are glad to welcome everyone to join in with us for His glory.

     Before becoming employed as the Youth Minister at Putnam Heights Church of Christ, I had been a volunteer youth leader for about 11 years, serving both at Landmark Christian Church and Putnam Heights Church of Christ.  I had volunteered as a youth leader while also attending UW Eau Claire for Music Education and Behavioral Psychology and working at the Eau Claire Academy.  In 1995, I moved to St. Paul, MN, where I remained for five and a half years, working as a supervisor in a group home for developmentally disabled adults.  While employed at the group home, I volunteered as a worship leader and played guitar for Immanuel Community Church, but I always felt the desire to get back to working with youth again.  Before I knew it, God brought me right back to Putnam Heights Church of Christ in Eau Claire, WI.  Since I have been back in Eau Claire, I have truly found a wonderful place to call home and an incredible group of youth that have become a great blessing in my life!
