We currently offer three classes: Little Tots Center (ages 1-5 years), Early Elementary (grades 1-5), and JR/SR High (grades 6-12). In the Fall of 2001, the JR/SR High class will be divided into a Jr. High class (grades 6-8) and a Sr. High class (grades 9-12). For more information contact Sunday School Superintendent, Kevin Gibson (610) 522-0774. AB Girls: Our American Baptist Girls clubs provide elementary through High School age girls with a supportive and fun environment within which they can explore various faith development issues. The core values taught in these programs include love for Christ and others, community service and self-respect. For more information on club meetings contact Linda Jackson. Homework Club: We are committed to assisting our community children in their pursuit of academic excellence. Beginning in September of 2001, Prospect Hill Baptist Church will be partnering with the Prospect Park School to provide elementary students (grades 1-3) with one-on-one homework support. Advanced Sign-up is required for this program, contact Pastor Paula McCosh (610) 532-9000. Flag Football League: Each Spring we invite community boys and girls (ages 10-14 years) to come play some football. This eight week league is sponsored by Fellowship of Christian Athelete. Contact Pastor Scot McCosh (610) 532-9000 for more details. Youth Ministry: The fastest growing people population at Prospect Hill is youth (grades 6-12). In order to better provide for the ministry needs of these youth, we are currently searching for a part-time Youth Ministry Intern. We have also developed a partnership with Young Life Ministries, who provide our high school youth with small group Bible study opportunities and weekend retreats. Pastor Scot McCosh is the contact person for these programs. |
