A mystery... An online friend sent these to me. If you have any idea what they are, please let me know.

The barrel loader is fun and works well...................................The cattle loader is fun, but not as reliable.
Two of the "people" action cars.

More linx than you can stand!
The engine and tender have been identified as Voltamp, model 2100, circa 1920-1930. The passenger car might be of the same vintage, but we're not certain.
An early on-the-carpet Lionel O scale layout.  Click to enlarge!
My two personal favorite Lionel operating accessories, the 342 culvert loader and the 345 culvert unloader! They give the train something to load/unload at each end of your layout.

The newest concept in our hobby is referred to as "High Rail". This takes traditional O or O27 Lionel, Marx, K-Line, MTH, ect. trains of our youth, including all the fun operating and animated accessories, and combines them with highly detailed layouts comparable with the one's were used to seeing in HO or N scale. It adds play value to beautifully scenicked and realistic train layouts.
Here's some pictures of just such a layout. I'm building one very much like this one.
