| Our family now.... |
| Scott and Polly have been married since 01/01/2000. They were childhood friends and have known each other for 21 years. They have 2 daughters. Antonia is 18 and off to college in Aug, Trinity is a happy and healthy baby. The four of them live in Raymore, Missouri (a suburb of K.C.) where they have resided for 5 years. The family owns thier home there and plan to stay. They have extended family living in the same subdivision who also have 2 school aged children. |

| We hope to find a sibling group soon to welcome to our family. We are open to ages infant up to about 14. Our older daughter should remain the oldest by several years so we preffer no additonal older teens.We hope to find a sibling group of three or more of mostly school age children. | We know there are a lot of outstanding families looking for children to make thier own. Here is some additional information about us that might help you with your selection. I (Polly) was adopted with my sister and brother. I have been a stepchild, stepparent, and the biological parent of a stepchild, a biologicalchild, & adopted child. Our family is made up of everything you can imagine from biological members to close friends who, to us, are family. Scott's family has many extended members and many close friendships that have been enjoyed for a lifetime. Antoina enjoys a close loving relationship with her biological father and his family with our blessing and encouragement. We are fortunate to have such a wonderful support group of family, friends, and even coworkers. We only hope we've been equally supportive of thier excited questions and anxious anticipation. We know what it takes to make a blended family work today and for a lifetime. We understand what adoptive children suffer through, endure, loose, and gain through the whole process. We know what we will gain will be immesurable. |
| Experience.... |
| We are still new to the foster/adoption process from a perspective parent stand point. However, we have already gained so much knowledge and understanding. We accepted an emergency foster placement of 2 separate sibling groups. From this experience we have learned what the S.T.A.R.S. and Spaulding can not teach; what it is really like to have foster children living in your home. Our familys' and friends' children have thought us a lot but it is simply is not the same as being responsible 24 hours a day for young traumatized children that you did not give birth to. We feel so fortunate to have had this experience especially since a sibling group is exactly who we hope to adopt. |

| A Little More... |
| What do we enjoy? During the summer we go to the Lake of the Ozarks on weekends where we enjoy tubbing and water skiing at Scott's parent's lake home on the water. It is a treasured family passtime. During the fall and winter we enjoying bowling with friends and family weekly. We have extended family in Lawrence and Kansas City we see regularlly. We often have cook outs and dinner get togethers at our home with the whole family present. |
| There are plenty of family traditions to enjoy and we are always looking to start new ones! Scott enjoys fishing, wood working, and anything outdoors. I love finding new creative outlets (usually redecorating since the new remodle). Antonia (Toni) loves church, and playing the guitar. Toni starts college in Aug. She is enjoying her new job as a receptionist right now. She loves little children and spoils our foster children at every turn. We all enjoy friendly rivalries of video games, movies and pampering the family pets. |
