Insomnio - 5am (real audio) 

This piece originated in a electronic drum sound with scratchs using the Yamaha CS-1X, after that i added a sinthesized bass sound, which moved trought the openning and closing of a filter. Over this base i improvised a guitar line using a sound that i founded deep inside the CS-1X. The second part of the piece has different sounds modified in realtime using all the knobs avaliable 

For the most part this piece was written by night, after returning home from  work. 

Historias Líquidas (real audio) 

The first piece of this project. I wanted to create a "suite", that evolved and developed different melodic ideas. This is the first time that used sampled voices in a musical composition 

The spark that started this piece was a book of shor stories that i read last year (97) called "Sueños Líquidos" (Liquid Dreams). 

Dos estrellas 

Between February and July, just before sunset, there are two stars that appear just in front of my balcony. After a hard day's work is a great relax to drink a glass of wine while watching the sunset. 

I use a lot of "mouse" in this piece, lots of copy&paste to create each instrument's  line, beguining with a very simple melody. 

Balance  

The idea was to create some kind of "string quartet" but i just wrote down a duo over some percussive noises, and sudently a distorted sound appeared and took the piece in a whole new direction. 

The title is related to the feelings on those days when you feel you're walking on a tightrope. 

Liviano 

I wanted to create a simple piece that could be played in just one instrument, in this case, a electric piano. At the end it involved a lot of editing to create the apropiate ambience. 

LRV 

Mi first remix... after composing and recording the piece i decided that i no longer liked the rhythm so i search and found a drum loop that i adjusted digitally to fit the tempo. 

4 B (real audio) 

B and Bb scales, simphonic rock of the 70's meet the 90's... inspired by things, movies, conversations, experiences and people that were close to me in the last year. Another suite of different melodies assembled as a whole.
