So whats going on in the world while i've been busy? Oh the Australian Open. I dont know if y'all know that i'm an avid tennis fan...so i stay up late to watch the matches! The mens tournament is a free for all now, with the top 6 seeds eliminated. I wonder who will win. People are betting on Sampras, but i'm not so sure...there is some good talent out there. With the women, its really between these 4: Seles, Venus, Hingis and Capriati... but my gut is telling me not to count Mauresmo out either.
Tomorrow is Martin Luther King day, a federal holiday here in the US. Its not a holiday for my place of employment but as a federal holiday I have the option to take the day off if i wish. I haven't decided if i'm going to go in yet....i'll know when i wake up in the morning.
I cannot believe Will Smith didn't win the Golden Globe for Ali. Russell Crowe wasn't extraordinary in the movie A Beautiful Mind..but ah well, goes to show how the establishment really thinks!
