ZERO

   Zero is the cardinal number of the empty set. It is the number of things you have when you don't have anything. It is the most effective computing devices ever invented. Without it, we could not distinguish 23 from 2023, or 2030, or 2300, and arithmetic would be much more difficult than it is. And now look at this:

   Addition - 2+0=2, 3+0=3, and so on.

   Multiplication - 2x1=2, 3x1=3, and so on.

   0 does the same thing for addition tha 1 does for multiplication.
