Mexican tortillas |

Ingredients: |
| 225 g of corn flour |
| salt |
| water |
|
Method |
| 1. Mix the corn flour, salt and water into a soft dough. |
| 2. Pat into round shapes (0,5 cm x 12 cm). |
| 3. Melt a litlle margarine in a frying-pan. |
| 4. Place the tortillas in the hot frying-pan. |
| 5. Turn the tortillas over. |
| 6. Serve at once. |
| How to make Pancakes |
| Ingredients |
| 1 cup of wheat flour |
| 1 egg |
| 1 cup of milk |
| 1 teaspoon of melted butter or oil |
| 1/4 of teaspoon of salt |
| a pinch of sugar |
| Method |
| Sift the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. |
| Beat and add one egg. |
| Add the milk. |
| Stir gradually to make smooth. |
| Add the melted butter or oil. |
| Cook in a hot frying pan, flip the pancake when it bubbles, to brown the other side. |
| Turn it out from the pan on to a plate. |
| The finished pancake should be almost transparent, crisp and lacy at the edges. |
