CN tower
the CN tower, apparently the tallest free-standing strucutre in the world. i thought it was those two towers in quala lumpar.
view from the CN tower
view north over the city from the top of the tower.
view of lake ontario
view south-west-ish over lake ontario.
scary bikkies!!!
the glass floor was a lot scarier than i expected, probably becasue it was only like two inches thick. this particular perspective made it look as though the tower was narrowing towards the bottom, and that's all wrong! the white 'X' at the bottom didn't offer much comfort either!
grainne, eryn & ryoko with the toronto skyline
toronto's financial district. eryn works at the top of the furthest right of the tall buildings.
an irishman and a brewery
we took a tour of this small pilsener brewery right beside the CN tower, and of course sampled the product. which was very good.
"i'm smarter than the average bear!"
a black bear at a wildlife park. it looked really cute... behind the fence.
alfred hitchcock spring to mind?
i don't know why this amused me as much as it did.
perhaps not looking our best, 1st thing in t'mornin'
outside eryn and rich's house, where we were staying.
"i'm going down to orangeville"
ok so it's not quite "on lake huron's shores," but it is a real place.
the canadian (big) falls
we visited niagara falls on the way home. it was incredible...
blue is really not my colour
...and while we were there we took the maid of the mist boat tour.
the american falls
this may be the best photograph in history... that i've taken anyway.
