| once upon a time, a young lad from rural county down (me) packed his trunk and said goodbye to the (political) circus that is northern ireland. off he went with a trumpety trump, all the way to ohio. there he decided that he would like to share photos of his BIG adventure with his old circus-pals. but, "oh no!" he didn't know how to build a so-called "web-page"! what will our hero do? suddenly, a lightbulb appearred above his head. 'not to worry', he thought to himself. 'i'll go see those nice people at geocities. they can teach me how to build a serviceable website if they think they'll be able to make a buck out of advertising.' and so, peet's homepage was born. |
