campion hall
campion hall- where i live
st. francis chapel
me with the campus chapel in the background. interesting that i have a red hand on my shirt. (credit to twoshoes for that little witticism.)
dolan science centre... or is that, center?
the brand new dolan science building, from the main entrance to the campus
my room
my room
my room
the other side of my room!
big rubber stamp
not sure how this one slipped in- it's in downtown cleveland not on campus. anyway, it's me with my japanese friends saori and ryoko.
"where the houses stood like stones"
ok so this isn't on campus either, but it's walking distance. just wanted to illustrate that yes, people really do live in houses like this with sprinklers on the lawns and paper-boys cycling cheerily past yelling "good morning mr. wilson"!
dolan
a closer view of the dolan building. the strange green stuff is like grass seed in some cellulose thing so birds don't eat it. ingenious really. but the point is, it's not just really crappy looking grass. they just finished landscaping the place.
admin building
the main administration building, which i guess was the image of the university... until they built that bloody great big science building in front of it!
jcu football
"they're ruining a perfectly good game of FOOTBALL!!" i think the reason for the stand on the far side being empty is that it is just new and possibly not finished yet.
japan society
japan society dinner. i'll not attempt to name everyone.
delorean
i saw this car parked on campus one night. i had no idea dave made deloreans on the side. i guess he has to do something to fund his cocaine habit, and giving music away on the internet for free isn't going to do it!
Danger! Danger!
fast-forward to march 2004 and the great fire of campion hall.
