Bit by bit we made our way and came closer to the Rocky Mountains and to the National Parks in this region.
Most of these pictures where made somewhere along the road. Not very famous points, but oh so beautiful and so many great memories.
We started our time in the Rockies at Pocahontas. We found it a perfect place to stay and the road to Pocahontas is one of the most beautiful we saw. We have ridden over this road by sunset, sunrise, dark and daylight and everytime there where new things to see.
As you can see that bear warning on that sign wasn't there for nothing. One member of our group was so close to one bear she had to made a close-up from his head.
Along the road from Jasper to Banff we came along the Columbian Icefields.
In one of these big snow coaches we went up the glacier and saw a glacier from a whole other side.
When we drove up we saw an avalanche and on the glacier we saw all the little streams that bring the water down and the special green colour that the ice has when you can look inside a hole.
The place is very impressive and has a big WOW factor.
