| Apart from the beautiful glacier lakes with their very special green/ blue colour we also saw these mountain goats. We saw them on several places climbing the steep walls of one of the mountains and along the roads. You cannot imagine the crazy places they walk and climb. |
| Potholes like this made out of the water are not existing in Holland, so maybe that's why we found them so impressive. |
| Meet one of Peter's special friends. We saw squirls all over Canada, even in gardens, in so many different ways. Black, brown, grey and of course these great ground squirls in Banff. Peter was always looking for them and they sure are great for pictures and lots of laughs. |
| Lake Louise may have it's fame but Lake Morraine is one of our favourite glacier lakes. The colour is impressive and there are not so many tourists. In this part we also found a walk where you were only allowed to walk with 6 people or more because of a grizzly roaming around. |
| Helmcken Falls are very impressive. The surrounding is made through volcanos, ice and now water and the water makes a free fall. Because of this "free fall" this waterfall makes a very special sound. On the message boards they also tell how many sorts of mosquitos they have...we didn't want to know that:-) |
