(1)PJA's brilliant performance in Singapore in June '98

'Singapore Telecom (SingTel) and Television Corporation of Singapore (TCS) are proud to announce the collaboration for a mega concert 'hello!' which will be held at the National Stadium on Friday, 5 June 1998.
SingTel customers and shareholders are in for a rare treat this June. SingTel, which counts almost every household in Singapore as a customer or shareholder, has chosen this innovative way to show its appreciation to everyone who has a stake in the company - by inviting them to this free concert.
Presented by SingTel and produced by TCS, hello! is the first of its kind in Singapore. It will provide a solid one and a half hours of non-stop entertainment featuring local, regional and international stars such as Beyond, Boyzone, 911, A My-My, Peter Andre, Code Red, KRU and A Niu Chen Qing Xiang. With a 50,000-strong crowd that will fill the National Stadium, hello! promises to be a high-energy, exciting and pulsating party that will be the talk-of-the-town.
With hello!, TCS will, for the first time, cover an event 'live', without commercial breaks. Those who are unable to join in the party at the National Stadium will be able to catch the 'live' telecast on Channel 5 from 8.30pm to 10.00pm.

The hello! event will, for the first time, bring together everyone in celebration, to enjoy a night of great music. (2)PJA TV appearance in Singapore on 4 June'98
This well-toned pop-star of Greek origin from Down Under was in town recently for the Hello! Concert and wow, did he make the girls sweat! His hip-rotating moves were not lost on the frenzied crowd who thronged the East Wing Lobby at Television Corporation of Singapore (TCS) just to get a glimpse of those famous 'six-pack' abs. Michelle Heng battled the estrogen brigade (and a few young boys!) to bring you an exclusive report.
7.15pm
'The usually tranquil East Wing Lobby at TCS is teeming with a sea of anxious fans who turn their heads every so often at the slightest patter of footsteps. Waiting patiently for their Greek god, Peter Andre, to arrive as a guest for the 'live' studio recording of 'Tonight With Gurmit', the expectant crowd pack the waiting area with furrowed brows.
7.30pm
He's here! The power pec-ed man cometh! Peter Andre sweeps into the room with a baseball cap perched atop his head at a jaunty angle and a barrage of autograph books shoved under his nose. And surprise, surprise! These fans are not just your average hormone-raging females but ten-year-old chappies who jostle with each other to get his signature on their Hello-kitty books. The pop-star cheerily obliges and throws a few playful punches at the boys before being chaperoned by his protective bodyguards into the lift leading up to the boardroom for a short dinner-break before the studio recording begins. A few screams can be heard just before the heavy, stainless steel doors close.
7.45pm
"Just give him a few minutes. He arrived this morning and he's been really busy the whole day long so he's really pooped," a concerned executive from his record company stretches out her hand to prevent this reporter from making her way to the dishy 25-year-old whose 1996 hit-single, 'Flava', knocked the Spice Girls' 'Say You'll Be There' off the number one spot on the UK charts. The hunk nurses a glass of water in his bronzed hands and slumps comfortably in an armchair, looking a tad tired from his tight schedule.
8.00pm
15 minutes later, the executive has relented her air-tight grip over her famous charge and agrees to a short interview with this singing sensation from Australia. Peter Andre may have had a long day but being the pro that he is, a winning smile appears on his well-chiseled face once the questions start spewing forth.
"Take a seat, go on!" the sinewy singer gives up his comfy seat to this embarrassed scribe. Only when a chair is found does he agree to let the interview begin. Asked about the scary incident when frenzied female fans pulled off his trousers at a concert, he feigned surprise at the question before rolling his bedroom eyes ceiling-high, "I was on stage when these girls started pulling at my trousers and I couldn't escape. She pulled them off and my boxer-shorts were revealed. Later, my boxer-shorts were nearly snatched away as well and I almost had nothing to show except for my bare-skin!"
Gasp! I could barely hold my pen.
8.15pm
We move off to the studio where he is quizzed about his rise to international pop-stardom by Gurmit, intrepid host of Tonight With Gurmit. Teased endlessly about his rippling stomach muscles and cheered on by an increasingly rowdy audience, he is determined not to reveal his washboard tummy and instead turns the table on Gurmit by making the talk-show host rip off his shirt!
8.30pm
After crooning a ballad from his latest album, Time, the beefcake whose real name is Peter James Andre steps off the platform to give a lucky fan a peck on her cheeks. By the time the show is over, this London-born, Australian-bred singer is headed for another movin' n'shakin' concert rehearsal at Kallang for the next day's performance. But just before leaving the studio, he blows his fans a kiss which leaves several girls panting for
breath!Wish you were there!'

'Peter was personally approached by Disney to record 'Kiss The Girl'
for the full scale re-release of the film last Summer.He turned down the offer at that time cos he was busy.
Then came the remade movie & once again,PJA was asked to sing it.Thrilled & touched,he finally
sang the song.A lovely R'n'B slow track,very different from the same fast raggae track of the past.It
received good comments from US critics & he gained acceptance among the parents.The single has
proven his maturity & his versatility, & marks his entrance into the US market. Returning to the big
screen for the first time in eight years, 'The Little Mermaid' has proven to be one of the best loved
animated features. Since it's silver screen debut in 1989, the picture has grossed
well over $300 million at the worldwide box office, and won Oscars for Best Score
and Best Song (for 'Under The Sea')."It was a real honour to sing on a Disney
production" said Peter. "It's one of those rare opportunities that allow you to fulfil a
long held ambition. I've been lucky enough to have enjoyed success over the last

Since Peter's explosion into the pop scene with 'Mysterious Girl' in June '96, he
has notched up an incredible 7 top 20 hits, including the No. 1 singles 'Flava' and 'I
Feel You'. 'Kiss The Girl' sees Peter at his most laid back vocally, a slice of
sun-drenched pop which is the perfect soundtrack to those scorching Summer
months. It is backed with a specially re-recorded version of 'Mysterious Girl'

According to Mushroom Records (UK) & the Singapore BMG spokey for Peter,he is back in the States,in a New York studio working on his new album due out either in late '99 or early 2000.According to the Top Of The Pops mag,it will be released in March;while the Smash Hits magazine believes it will be out in April or May. On 19/10/00,PJA was a special guest on a music show in Cyprus,
speaking Greek throughout the show!His hair is now spikes & has an eyebrow piercing!He changed record company,which is one of the reasons for his disappearance..At the moment he's working with the manager of Britney Spears and Backstreet Boys.He wrote about 73 new songs and they'll have to choose 12 of them for the new album.
Interview revealed facts like his parents' villages,concerts,
relationships,story behing his writing of 'Mysterious Girl' & more.On 4/11/00,he appeared on another tv show,& his hair was colored blue-black.
On 5/11/00,Steph saw him perform in the annual
'Radiomarathonios' charity for handicapped children from 10am to 4pm,singing 'Mysterious Girl','I Feel You' and a new song called 'Good Times',& met him!On 5/11/00,on another show,it's said that he's going to release his new single in February 2001 and after another single he'll release his new album in May.Catch all the scoop at Steph's Articles Page & her News Page.

According to the TV HITS magazine Peter's new album will be out early in 2001& he's still single and there's a pic of him in the new issue of (22/9/00) TV HITS which also shows his eyebrow piercing. Peter hopes his new album will be out February 2001.According to Claire (Pete's Mysterious Girl) ,he should have come back to the UK in May but had to go to Australia, so he couldn't. He has changed record companies, to D.A.S communications who also manages bands like The Fugees, and Salt N Peppa. He is getting his Dad to build a house in Buckinghamshire, and he said he wants a 'English/Tropical kind of house'. He wants torelease a single, which will be a mixture of R'N'B and Pop, followed by a second single,& a third single, which he says will be the one to really 'Push' the album. Then he is going to follow it all with a worldwide tour. He said 'It will be my first world wide push'. He said he is missing the UK, and the fans. 'Australian pop singer Peter Andre has been dropped by his record company after almost three years out of the spotlight, it was reported today. Andre, who was almost as well known for his six-pack stomach as his singing and dancing, has been dropped by Mushroom Records, The Sun reported. The label is in negotiations to sell Andre and new material he has been working on to another record company, the paper said. Andre, 27, has been working on his third album for the past two-and-a-half years,since his single Kiss the Girl reached number nine in the UK charts in July 1998.Andre had two British number ones in 1996 with Flava and I Feel You, earning more than STG1 million ($A2.73 million).But Mushroom has reportedly told him it wants to end his five-album deal early,feeling it would cost too much to relaunch him."He's been away too long and the label weren't sure there was a place for him in the market anymore," a source close to Andre was quoted as telling the paper."He was one of the pioneers of the R'n'B sound here which now dominates the British charts. There are loads of acts like Peter now and a lot of his young fans have grown up."He's been away for what is a generation in music terms and it will be extremely hard for him to be relevant again."'

Some say it's a rumour while some say not. There's no mention of it on the Official Site . According to a fan Chris,he saw 2 articles about Peter's filming in Sydney where he's playing a bodybuilding cop, having spent 8 months hard core bodybuilding for the role.

Rumours and threats abound and a bodybuilding
cop is brought in undercover in the form of - wait
for this - Peter Andre. Peter was always pumped
in his videos, but now he is so outrageously
muscled thanks to months of serious
bodybuilding, special diets, supplements and
whatever else(???!!!) he is Peter Andre the
MUSCLE MAN! During a rare afternoon off, I meet
the very good looking Peter in the apartment he
is staying in overlooking Sydney Harbour. He is
very polite when I gasp with shock at his
transformation - he is literally stretching his
sweater to bursting point and the difference
between his waist and chest makes for a
wonderful V shape. His baggy trousers are tightly
belted which accentuate this fact and he tells me
his waist is 27 inches and chest a whopping 46
inches. I am so envious because at 28 I am the
same age and now wish I'd done some weight
lifting. As we talk, Peter sips water - he lets me
try it just to prove he's not lying and drinking
vodka - and I watch the bulge of his biceps like
rocks under his clothing. "I've trained for two
hours this morning and I'll be back in the gym
tonight with my trainer and then on set tomorrow
at 6am." Is he getting some wierd looks? "All the
time," he giggles, and adds, "I love it! I swim in
the hotel pool after a workout and the looks on
people's faces is great," he says. I ask if he's
enjoying his new movie career. "It's great and
I've got an excellent acting coach who goes
through the script with me." And what about
looking like Mr. Universe? "I love it!" he enthuses.
"A kid came up to me in a store the other day and
said, 'Are you a muscle man?' and I nodded and
he was all wide eyed and awestruck. I could
disguise the fact with a huge coat or something,
but I feel so good about it, I wish I'd gone hard
core earlier. I see a book on the table about
bodybuilding posing routines. Peter has had to
learn every muscle trick in the book because he
spends a lot of screen time in nothing but a pair of skimpy posing trunks. "I was
nervous," he tells me, "But the best advice was
to just wear them and get used to being in them
as if I was fully clothed." The next day I go to the
location, an old theatre in downtown Sydney.

HIMSELF IN THE TINY BIKINI POSING TRUNKS.

The Official PJA site, Peter Andre: The Next Chapter has opened on 7 Dec 2001. It's a Flash website with some info and pics. Coming soon are interviews, new photos,a worldwide tour... his comeback album should be out in 2002! Also, according to Tristen, on 06 Dec 01, one of PJA's representatives Nigel Portley (well, apparently) says that some new material would be released in 2002,and PJA (with short hair and 2 tattoos) was on UK radio station Galaxy FM on 7 Dec 01, saying his new album is coming out soon. He wrote more than 80 songs.Hang on!

(14)PJA's New Album coming soon
"Peter Andre, who recently boasted about his "biggest
achievement" in the music industry, has now announced
that his new upcoming album, "The Next Chapter", will
not feature a collaboration with the ever-popular
Mariah Carey. "Unfortunately, with her new record
company and other matters, our song became pushed
aside and the weird thing is - I think she was more
upset about it than I was," Andre joked last week.
The song reportedly titled "Wait" had been scheduled
for recording in April but was canned due to Mariah's
multi-million dollar EMI pay-out and the notion that
Peter had made commitments regarding new Australian
duo, Shakaya. "I've been writing and producing some
songs for Shakaya's album," he revealed. "Their third
single will be one of the songs that I wrote, so I'm
pretty pleased about that. Mariah and I will still
work again in the near future, but it will probably be
on one of her remixes."
So what does Peter Andre's new album sound like? "I'm
getting back to basics, it will be funkier than my
Time LP but more mature than my Natural LP. It's
different but it's still a CD that my fans will enjoy.
I've been working on it for over 2 years so I don't
wanna release it until it's absolutely perfect." In
the meantime, Andre's new Best Of album, featuring his
massive hits All Night All Right, Mysterious Girl and
Kiss The Girl (theme from The Little Mermaid), will be
released next month. The Next Chapter is predicted for
an August release while the first single off the album
will be released within the next few months.

for writing in to me. I love to know that there is so much belief out there.
Since I decided to open my own official website, I can't believe the response.
I'm in Australia at the moment and I'm recording my new album. Actually,
right now, as I'm writing this, I'm sitting in my room at my parents house
on the Gold Coast (Queensland) and writing to my friends.
The album is going well and I now have over 100 songs I've written from
studios worldwide. As time goes on, I'll be keeping you updated as to what's going on. I was watching the American music awards the other night, ( must be a
repeat from January or something), and it made me realise just how much I miss

"WHEN 1990s pop icon Peter Andre learned his mother was ill, he took it as some kind of sign to leave London and head for the family's Bribie Island business.
Having all but disappeared from the spotlight after his seventh UK Top Ten hit in 1998, Andre, known for his painstakingly groomed hair and washboard stomach, was all but forgotten in the world of pop.
But the singer and his famous six-pack are alive, well, and doing manual labour on a Bribie Island resort.
And the 29-year-old � who stormed the Australian charts in 1993 with his single Gimme a Little Sign and was Britain's sixth best selling artist of the nineties � is planning a pop comeback.
He parted ways with record company Mushroom two years ago but is "in negotiations" with three labels, and has had talks with Sony while in Australia.
And in his years out of the spotlight, he has penned and pre-recorded at least 100 tunes.
Four of the tracks were recorded in Cairns with Andre's friend Reno Nicastro, who manages Cairns pop duo Shakaya.
Andre, who invested in Bribie's Koolamara Beach Resort with his parents 10 years ago, moved back to Australia in February.
"We did the investment, I went overseas and things went very well in England, but Mum and Dad were here running it by themselves, and it came to a point where I thought, we've got to all contribute as a family," Andre said.
"And Mum ended up not being too well, so we sent them home (to the Gold Coast) and we've come up here and taken over."
On spotting Andre, Bribie Island locals thought he was part of the Hollywood feature film The Great Raid, recently shot in the area.
Andre will return to Britain at the end of the month to pursue a record deal, and hopes to record in Australia and release an album early next year."

Peter's finally back. He re-released 'mysterious girl' in the UK (23 Feb 04)& it was No.1 on the charts! In the recent Brit Awards, they showed that clip. He appeared on Top of The Pops to promote the re-release of the song. The Official Site Peter Andre 2004 has been updated. He wrote a song called 'Insania' in the jungle. He's touring UK soon in June 2004. I'm sure he would get more new fans! Hooray!
