'PETER CRANE & JIMMY DEE'
'PC SOLO' (incl. Christmas songs)
'CATERINE'
In the years since SACRED RITE broke up, Peter Crane and Jimmy D. Caterine have recorded a huge library of original songs - some with a full band, others with some digital help. These collections range in style from heavy groove-rock, to instrumental new-age to lazy acoustic island music - even a collection of Christmas variations! Great attention was always given to lush vocal harmonies, great riffs and choruses, and intricate arrangements.
Hardcore metal fans may find this material disappointing, because none of it is as 'heavy' as SACRED RITE. But if you love good music of all kinds, you'll find some great songs here.
'TRAGIC NANCY - GODS AMONG MEN' - This extensive collection was recorded with vocalist Tim Hewitt, guitarist Mark 'Rat' Folta, and Scott Dickerson on drums. The music is in a heavy, groove-rock vein. We're very proud of this collection. There are some great song riffs and really good, catchy choruses. Tim Hewitt had a great voice in the studio. This band should have made it.
'LOVERS & FRIENDS' - Of all the post-'SR' recorded work, this is our favorite! A great deal of time and planning went into these songs, and it shows. The style is commercial rock with many varied influences. The songs are moving with strong choruses and lavish vocal harmonies. The sound is thick and layered with many different textures, thanks to Jimmy's guitar-synth work. Pete did all the basic tracks - electric and acoustic guitars, bass, drum prgramming, piano, organ - and all the vocal parts. Jimmy added the guitar solos, and lots of great extras with his GR1 guitar-synth - a sax solo here, a string part there, flute, sitar, steel drums, and just about everything else. We hold it up there with 'Is Nothing Sacred?' as an example of our greatest work.

'SONGS OF YESTERDAY'
'LAZY DAY'
'MOVIN' ON' - More than any of the others, these collections really come from the heart. Pete recorded them by himself - just acoustic guitar, bass, a drum machine, and lots of pretty vocal harmonies. You might call it 'Island style' music - a laid-back, acoustic sound that instantly makes you feel like you're at the beach. Growing up in Hawaii, we were influenced heavily by Hawaiian pop artists like CECILIO & KAPONO and KALAPANA. Moving to the mainland brought on acute homesickness for all of us, and it's never really gone away. These songs were Pete's way of bringing himself closer to home. Fans of THE EAGLES and AMERICA will love these three collections.

'BITS & PIECES' - These are some instrumental pieces Pete did on the M1 keyboard. Lots of different styles, sounds and textures.

'COGNITION' - Jimmy D's new solo effort blends huge orchestral arrangements with rock and jazz. Lots of classical passages with a strong European feel.

'FEAR - PAIN - LOVE' - Jimmy's second solo collection actually written and partially recorded before "COGNITION". It's heavier, featuring more electric guitar, and again showcases Jimmy's wonderful sense of melody and abstraction.
