Our Employment Specialists from PESO solicit Job Vacancies from Companies within and our nearby cities and municipalities as well as Overseas Job Orders through coordination with POEA and its accredited Placement Agencies. Aside from Job Solicitation, the Project by Administration of our City Government is a great contributor to the Demand Side through Creation of Jobs from the Construction of our Flagship Projects and moreover when it became fully operational like the Towerville Public Market, Muzon Public Market, Agro-Processing Center, and Bagsakan Food Terminal. They are expected to create thousands of jobs for our constituents.

Performance of our PESO Employment Unit.

       From July 2004 to July 2006, we have documented 6,049 Employed San Jose�os local and overseas through various assistance and programs we have extended. Our Top Local Partner Company in terms of deployment to name a few are : SM Mart Inc., Jollibee Foods Corp., L.R. Tiqui Builders, Vitson International Corp., Human Link Management and Services and for Overseas Deployment, we have Greenfield International Manpower Services Inc., FLB Overseas Employment Agency, New Era Placement Agency and Aim High International Placement Corp.

       Our Poverty Alleviation Program for the period of February to July 2006 have a total beneficiary of 588. This is an Emergency Employment Program for our Jobless and less fortunate constituents with immediate needs and special concerns. Although this is just a temporary relief from poverty, the earnings derived from their few days work could sustain their families while searching for better opportunities.

       The Hiring Process of our Locally Funded Teachers is also being facilitated by PESO. For the School Year 2006 - 2007 we were able to deploy 237 San Jose�o Teachers in our City Public Schools.
