Specifically, the College of Medical Technology aims to develop the following characteristics in its graduates:
1. Cognitive Characteristics - the knowledge and information base
as well as reasoning ability to use such knowledge.
2. Technocal Characteristics - the psychomotor skills that allow
ascertaining infolrmation about patients and performing various
types of good quality laboratory examinations with speed and
accuracy.
3. Atttitudinal Characteristics - perpetualite values namely: Love of
Country, Love of Neighbor, Love of God, Compassion and
Helpfullness, Pursuance of Academic and Professional excellence.
Health and Environmental Consciousness, Filipino Christian,
Leadership and Global Solidarity.
4. Psychological Characteristics - interpersonal skills which enables
one to interact with colleagues, patient and other health care givers
locally and globally.
5. Independent Learning Characteristics - which help one through
research to pursue both academic and non-academic excellence in
life.
The College of Medical technology of the University of Perpetual Help Medicine and Health Sciences has endeavored to improve its program by presenting to the students the vision-mission of the university and objectives of the college in developing future practitioner of the profession. In doing so the college selectively formed a faculty member line up for the program. The Faculty profile are in accordance with tha PACUCOA requirements the university's accrediting agency, the College of Medical Technology is now on its Level II First Re-Accreditation having passed the Level I and Level II on February 1997 and February 1999 respectively.
The college is headed with the very qualified Dean, a Doctor of Philosophy and has a wide range of experience in term of Academic and Administrative functions. She is concurrently the University's Director for Academic Affairs.
Second to the Dean is the Executive Dean who is also qualified for the position in terms of academic and proffesional qualification and had finished his masterate degree and have earned some units in Doctorate program
