| Level 0 spell: Daze This spell will affect a targeted area of radius 2 meters. This spell is usually only effective on Muggles or lesser magical beings. Daze lasts for about 10 minutes and can has unlimited casting. Higher level spells: Sleep More powerful than Daze, targets must make a Will Power safe of risk falling asleep for an entire day. Sleep strength is determined by the magical power of caster. Elemental Shield The caster is surrounded by a glowing hue and this shield reflects up to 60% of elementally imbuned magic attacks (e.g. fire, water, ice, electrical, wind). Can take up to 3 direct hits before collapsing. Resist Magic The caster is able to reflect all level 0 spells but in higher spells, it becomes a battle of willpower + magical strength. The higher this total is, the stronger this spell is against the attacking spell. Time Freeze This spell requires intensive study, deep mental preperation and only casters of a certain experience level can master this spell and cast it effectively. It is a sudden attack spell and must be cast while targets are off-guard because Resist Magic will counteract it. Able to affect an entire enclosed room and targets will be frozen for half an hour. Resist Death Magic This spell is a collaborating between Rowena and Salazar. They worked long hours together to produce this previously non-existent defence spell against death magic. The will power + raw magic ability of the caster and attacker is the determining factor of whether the caster lives or dies. Whosever is highest wins. Eagle Whirlwind Rowena's most devestating spell. This conjures a mighty tornedo that sweeps through targeted area. No save moves against this spell, only running away!! However, this spell only lasts for 2 minutes and covers a limited area, about a 5 meter radius. Can only be cast once a day. |
| History: Rowena belongs to one of the twelve famous wizarding families. The Ravenclaw clan is known for their wisdom and love of avian creatures and the Lady Rowena is no exception. She is represented by the owl for she is by far the wisest of all as she is graceful. Her father, Lord Ravenclaw is the Eagle - proud and strong and he rules Ravenclaw Keep with a stern but not quite tyrannical rule. Rowena has but one sibling - a younger brother called Ronan whose symbol is the falcon. Their mother however, had passed away during the birth of Ronan but Rowena is not sorrowful. She knew very little of her mother and is happy to have her father and annoying little brother. Ever since she was little, Rowena loved to read. Although she was a capable witch, she was still female and was bounded to forever stay within the Keep. So books were Rowena's only way of exploring the world outside; she immersed herself into their words and was eager for knowledge. She loved to question thing and always wanted to know why things worked the way they did. Lord Ravenclaw is proud of his little 'owlet' and loves her dearly. He had hoped for her to one day marry Sir Kendrick, an old friend of his who he knew 'was a good man'. But Rowena's heart chose another, and Lord Ravenclaw watched as his little owlet left the Keep to test her own wings. Lord Ravenclaw does NOT like his daughter's choice and there is little amiability between Salazar and him but he has reluctantly accepted it; putting his trusts into his daughter's wisdom. Rowena left her home in hopes to find herself, and in a certain wizard she hopes to find love. |
