Christmas Spirit

There's a light in this place that God has put there.
A very special light that makes us aware.
There's a message he sends throughout all the lands
Proclaiming his love that is always at hand.

He sent his son Christ to die for us all
So that we would no longer stumble and fall.
Yes, Christ gave us his life for all of mankind
He gave it in faith for all of time.

It's by the faith in his name that we believe and are heard.
Our prayers are answered by believing his word.
For it's the love of Christ that see us through all
And the power of the Holy Spirit that comes to call.

For away in a manger no crib for a bed
The little lord Jesus lay down his sweet head.

The stars in the sky (that shined so bright)
Lead the wise men to Jesus on that glorious night.
Bearing gifts in his name and proclaiming him King.
For this is what the giving at Christmas should mean.

Is it no wonder than that we do find?
That God works so many miracles at this time.
For the love of Jesus is felt by all
When our Lord Jesus comes to call.

He healed the sick. He healed the blind.
Yes Christ gave his life for all of mankind.
There's a message he sends-throughout all the lands
Proclaiming his love that is always at hand.

The spirit of Christmas is the body of Christ
He brings joy and love to all that seek him and Eternal life.
