It took DFS 5 days to contact me. In this time, my frantic calls to the Dept. of Family Services went unanswered.
I went to the Victorian Police, who rang Queensland on my behalf and informed me that the Foster Carer had been charged with 23 counts of "digital rape" against my two daughters.
I can only describe the hate, anguish and emptiness inside me as a "dead man walking". I was coming up to "KILL AND BE KILLED".
I received a call from my Mother-in-law to inform me that the Foster Carer who committed these acts was given bail at the Sunshine Coast address. I drove up from Victoria with the full intention of killing him and then getting shot by the Police, as I was not doing another 20 years Jail over him.
I have never been in such a dark place in all my life. Nothing prepared me for this nightmare.
