FEES AND CHARGES

We make every effort to keep the fees for our program as low as possible while still providing the highest quality of care. Monthly and hourly fees are based on the staff/child ratio in each classroom. MCO I7IO.30_, which governs our operation, require that our income from fees cover the cost of staffing the program.

Fee Category Documentation. Center fees are mandated by the Military Child Care Act of 1989.  Full-day and part-day fees are determined by total family income. Military/civilian personnel will provide a copy of their most current Leave and Earning Statement to CDP.  Fees are based on all family earned income including foreign earned, before deductions, basic subsistence and quarters subsistence or in kind allowance.  Patrons not providing required fee information will be placed in the highest fee category.   All applications must be filled-in completely.

Current Fees. Current fees are posted in each center's lobby. All fees are subject to change.

PRESENT FEES FOR SCHOOL YEAR 1999

Late Pick-up Fees. A late pick-up charge of $3.00 per hour or a portion thereof when patrons exceed the contract limit.  A late pick-up charge of $1.00 per minute per child will be assessed after closing.  The military police will be contacted one hour after the close of business if the parent or emergency contact designee cannot be located. Patrons who are repeatedly late picking up children may be suspended from the Center at the discretion of the Program Administrator, Child Development Programs Branch.

Late Payment Fees. A late payment fee of $20.00 per week per family will be assessed for payments not received by the close of business the Friday prior to service.

Sian-in or Out Fees. A $3.00 assessment fee will be charged for failure to sign-in or out at the front desk.
Full Day Fees. Weekly contracts are considered an agreement for ten hours of care per day, five days per week. After the contract limit has been reached, you will be charged at the regular hourly rate.  Adjustments in fees will not be made for holidays, typhoons, or short term emergencies which require the Center to close beyond there control.  There is no reduction of fees for absences, illnesses or vacation.  Fees are set so as to generate revenue to cover 52 weeks of operation.  In the event of absence, your child's space will only be reserved if this period of time has been paid for in advance.  Otherwise, the contract will become null and void, and your child's space will no longer be reserved.

Contract Payment. All contract programs, except part day preschool and hourly programs, must pay fees the Friday before the week the services are rendered.  Violations will result in a late fee charge of $20.00 each week.  Continued violations will result in termination of service.

Part Day Preschool. Part day preschool fees are due on or before the I st of each month. Late payment will result in a late fee of $20.00.

Vacations and Leave. Agreements for full and part day contracts require payment for fifty-two weeks of the year and/or for the contract period.  If you expect your child's space at the Center to be held for you during a time you are absent from the Center, you must pay for the reserved space.  If you want the space held for your child you must pay prior to your absence.

Termination Notice. Each Center requires two weeks written notice to terminate services.  This time frame allows us to contact another family to fill the space.  Fees will be paid through the two week notice. Please ensure you complete the Center's withdrawal form.

Organization Charges. Approved organizations with a usage of at least fifteen children per month or use of the facility for fifteen days per month are eligible to establish a charge account.  Any new accounts must be established at the Morale Administrative Support Branch prior to implementation of a charge system at the Centers.  Charge slips must be brought in the same day as the charge or a cash payment must be made.  Fees are charged on a regular hourly basis.

Kindergarten or Before an After School Program. If your child is enrolled in kindergarten, your child's reservations are for nine hours per day only. If your child is enrolled in the Before and After School Program, your child's reservations are onlv for before and after school.  In the event of school breaks such as, Spring Break, Christmas vacation, or teacher work days where your child will need our services for the entire day, you must make reservations in advance for our full day service. Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance.
