We are a group of Smith alumnae of all ages and professions who continue to get excited about Smith and meeting other Smith alumnae.
Our club area includes every city on the Peninsula from the northern border of Montetery to the southern border of San Francisco. There are over 1000 Smith alumnae in the Bay Area and over 400 of them call the Peninsula home.
The Peninsula Smith Club was formed with three goals in mind.
- To connect Peninsula- area alumnae with each other and the college through educational and social events.
- To support the future of Smith through recruiting top candidates from the Peninsula and helping them through the entire admissions process.
- To actively support current Smithies from the Peninsula through our care package program and social events.
The Smith club is run by a volunteeer board of directors. Each year the board develops a program of events that tries to respond to the varied ages, interests, and occupations of the membership.
These events usually take place at local alumnae homes and are a wonderful occasion to see old classmates, make new Smith freinds and professional contacts, keep abreast of College developments, exchange ideas, and enjoy the camaraderie of our local Smith network. Your annual dues offset the costs of mailings, speaker travel costs, student recruitment activities, and young alumnae resource coordination.
Please feel free to contact any of the board members with your questions, ideas, and suggestions. We invite you to join the Smith College Club of the Peninsula and look forward to seeing you during the coming year.
To receive email communication about news and events, we invite you to
