Well after the winter recess the PENGUINS team is back … and we are looking forward to another exciting year communicating the good news about Christ through fun with puppetry.

There have been some changes to the team since last year.  It has been encouraging to have some new people join the group, although we have also have to say goodbye to a couple of last years members.

In June the puppets headed outdoors to their local supermarket.
Grandpa told the moving story of how in the storm he had saved a boy who was a friend of the family while his own son drowned.

Angie sang a moving song of how she was touched by God's love,
And of cause the puppet band gave of there best too.

In July the puppets performed for the garden party in St.George's Church Hall.
When someone tells you to save yourself by getting out the way of a falling piano you move.  Well there is a way to save yourself in life too--repent, believe and put yourself in Jesus' hands.

In October the puppets were invited to help with the launch of 'Firm Foundations' at Diocesan Synod in Shrewsbury
If you missed them there, they're hopefully joining the Firm Foundations Road show and will be appearing at venues throughout the Midlands over the next few months.

At the end of October the puppets put in an appearance at the light party in St.George's Church Hall.
The power of God is real, and you don't have to have  money to experience it, though you may find you  need to change on the inside.
