If you have a student who has moved across town or across the state for school, we need their new address, e-mail, etc. Call 276-1894; with per-mission we will publish them in next month’s newsletter.
Our wonderful new roof looks great. The total cost of this project was over $8,000 and we have only received a little over $2,000. The thermometer to gauge where we stand in taking care of this expense hasn’t moved recently. If you would like to contribute to this cause, be sure to specify on your envelope or check "roof" and your donation will go to taking care of this necessary expense. Of course, your donation is always tax deductible.
"Meet Me at the Country Fair" is this month’s theme for Pendleton After 5 on October 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Vert Clubroom, S.W. 4th between Dorion & Emigrant. It will include the annual silent auction of holiday gift items and decorations. (If you would like to donate an auction item, contact Anita.) Proceeds will provide a Christmas gift for both Stonecroft and Village Missionaries. Chicken pot pie will be served. Cost for the entire evening will be $6.00. Call Vicki at 276-3947 [email protected] or Rose, 966-3947 for reservations. All ladies are invited to enjoy an evening of fellowship together.
LAST CALL FOR SUMMER PHOTOS! Our bulletin board is now a place to remember those great summer memories. Have a special photo of a great vacation memory, reunion, this year’s garden, the kids washing the dog, etc.? Drop off in the church office SOON! And don’t forget to take a look at the photos posted.
