Debbie Berry-Pray for her daughter Ashley as she recovers from back surgery last Wednesday.
Judy Whalen-Continue to pray for her friends, the Byrum’s, whose son, Gabriel, has had intestinal problems since birth. Pray that he can stay infection-free and will be off the feeding tube as soon as possible.
Pastor Rick-Pray for his entire family and especially his mother as they all cope with the death of his father.
Darlene's daughter-Pray for her regarding her school courses at Oregon State University throughout the winter term.
DiAnna Miller-Pray for her niece Kelly and newborn grandniece Sara as they both recover from complications due to premature birth.

IYC FUNDRAISING BEGINS Pastor Joseph and high school students going to the International Youth Convention in Denver in July are beginning an on-going bottle/can drive. Donations can be dropped off at the church in marked boxes downstairs in the Fellowship Hall through June 16!

AFTER 5 "A Tribute to President’s Day" is this month’s theme for Pendleton After 5 on February 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the Vert Clubroom, S.W. 4th between Dorion & Emigrant. Sharon Smith, wife of Senator Gordon Smith, will share about her life in Washington, D.C. Ruth Zeigler of Yakima is guest speaker, sharing about how to reduce life’s challenges no matter how GIGANTIC! Dessert will be served. Cost for the entire evening will be $4.50. VOLUNTEER OF
THE MONTH
This month’s volunteer spotlight is on Len Shupe. Since Len has been a member of our congregation he has been very active in many volunteer opportunities. His special talent in the maintenance area has benefited our church in so many ways. He has chaired the Maintenance Committee for several years always being sure to schedule workdays to keep our building in great shape inside and out. He has responded at a moment’s notice to electrical problems, small fires, leaks, roof repairs and sprinkler problems. Currently he helps with ushering duties on Sunday mornings as well as serving as chair of the Board of Trustees this year. His leadership and willingness to serve is appreciated very much. Len is married to Pat and they are currently very busy trying to keep up with their redheaded grandson, Loren. Thanks for a job well done, Len!
LITTLE DOGS
ON THE PRAIRIE
Beginning this month our Wednesday night kid’s program is featuring a brand new format, 7-8:15 p.m.! "Little Dogs on the Prairie" helps kids 3 years old through 5th grade learn Biblical principles, good character traits and relationship building through song, crafts, stories and even the snacks! Teri Brickey and several helpers will be presenting the first set of lessons entitled "Pride, Prejudice and Fudge" which highlights Biblical truths your children will easily learn to use in their everyday lives. Snack makers are working to produce "Incredible, Edible Bible Fun" which ties in snack ingredients to their lessons. Kids can earn "Bible Bucks" for weekly shopping at the "Little Yellow Store on the Prairie." We urge parents to bring your children each week and have then invite a friend! There is an adult Bible study with Pastor Rick on handling stress at 7 p.m. Come shed the day’s tensions and relax.
