VOLUNTEER OF   THE MONTH

This month’s volunteer spotlight is on Cindy Darlington. Over the years Cindy has busily gone about the business of serving our church in a variety of ways. She is always ready to serve in the kitchen with our soup & salad luncheons, potlucks, providing mid-week snacks for our kids, working in the Round-Up food booth and cooking for our high school grads. She has volunteered her expertise with food at almost every event in which food is a part. You can also find her in the nursery helping with the infants on Sunday mornings, serving on the worship team and fulfilling ushering duties as well. She has clocked several hours at the fireworks booth and many other youth fundraisers. Some of her more daring experiences include serving as a summer counselor at Camp Whitebranch and accompanying youth to the International Youth Convention in Cincinnati. Throughout the year she plants and tends a portion of the flower beds and is always ready to lend a helping hand whenever necessary. Her husband, Rod, is usually on hand to help her and is very supportive in her volunteer duties. Cindy & Rod have two children, Nick and Ginger and three grandchildren: Hayden, Sheldon & Kendall, children of Ginger and Jeff Blair.
