THANK YOU’STom & Mary Kelly would like to thank everyone for all the meals provided, flowers, cards and prayers while Mary continues to recover from a broken hip. Tom is especially thankful for the food because he doesn’t know where anything in the kitchen is! They sincerely extend their thanks to their church family. Church Family: I just want to say thank you to those of you that helped me out with cookies for the recent graveside service for the Hinton’s of Long Creek. It was very cold at the service and everyone was extremely happy to go somewhere and warm up with a cup of coffee and a cookie. Several family members requested that I thank my church for their kindness. Thank you again. I couldn’t have done it without all of you. - - Karen Parker To Our Church Family: Words cannot express our appreciation for all of your care, concern and love in the past two months during my father’s illness and death. It has been a very difficult time and you have helped lighten the load. You have really exemplified the meaning of being a part of a family. You cared for us, prayed for us and cooked for us. Please accept our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation on behalf of our family. God bless you. Pastor Rick, Debbie, Nathan, Lindsay & Luke Oliver |

EASTER OFFERINGOne of the COG’S traditional offerings each year is the Easter Ministries Offering. This year’s theme, “Beyond Belief….” fits the Easter facts—Jesus dying on a cross, his lifeless body placed in a tomb, a huge stone moved and Jesus seen alive & ascending into heaven. This offering will be taken on Easter Sunday, March 31, to help support ministry in the U.S. and around the world in spreading The Word. |
*A good time to replace the batteries in your
smoke detector, too! Did you know DST is NOT observed in Hawaii, the
Eastern Time Zone portion of Indiana and the state of Arizona? Dazzle
your co-workers on Monday at coffee break with that!
