LITTLE DOGS ON THE PRAIRIE Continuing this month, our Wednesday night kid’s program features “Little Dogs on the Prairie,” 7-8:15 p.m. for kids 3 years old through 5th grade. “Pride, Prejudice and Fudge” highlights Biblical truths your children will easily learn to use in their everyday lives.  Snack makers are working to produce “Incredible, Edible Bible Fun” which ties in snack ingredients to their lessons.  Kids can earn “Bible Bucks” for weekly shopping at the “Little Yellow Store on the Prairie.”    We urge parents to bring your children each week and have them invite a friend!  There is an adult Bible study with Pastor Rick on handling stress at 7 p.m.  Come shed the day’s tensions and relax.  High schoolers meet with Joseph downstairs	VOLUNTEERS OF THE MONTH  This month’s volunteer spotlight is on those wonderful women who bring a very important facet of worship to us each and every Sunday of the year!  Elaine Allen, Shirley Hollibaugh and Darlene Marquardt have served our church with talent and dedication as our weekly musicians.  Many may not realize that our worship service is practiced each Wednesday evening and some early Sunday mornings.  These ladies are responsible for learning new songs as well as being familiar with hundreds of others that they have played over the years.  Each Sunday they are in place and offering us beautiful strains of music  prior to the service.  They are always on hand to provide accompaniment for those presenting special music, which usually requires extra practice time during the week.  They have been faithful in many, many special musical programs and evening services as well.   These women provide a very integral and pleasant portion of our worship service.  We are thankful to have such willing and talented members of our church family share their God-given talents.  Take a minute this Sunday to let them know you appreciate their efforts.    PENDLETON AFTER 5 “Top of the Evening” is this month’s theme for Pendleton After 5 on March 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the Vert Clubroom, S.W. 4th  between Dorion & Emigrant. Guest speaker is Helen Wilson from Ephrata, WA, a former teacher talking about "A Baby Boomers Guide to the Ideal Life.”  Enjoy toe-tapping Irish tunes and a potato bar.  Cost for the entire evening will be $6.50.  Call Vicki at 276-3947 (chambers@oregon trail.net) or Kathleen at 278-9209, by Friday, March 8 for reservations.  All ladies are invited to enjoy an evening of fellowship together.
